Tesame has four children. Her biggest hurdle is the fact that the
water they are drinking is full of parasites and viruses. We can
change this and give Tesame a chance. Water for her means
healthy kids and irrigation for her farm.
Fatira, 11, lives in Caro. Her morning routine involves walking 12km
to a contaminated stream to collect water for her family, and then
getting ready for school. Soon she will have water 10 feet from her
house which will allow her time to play rather than just work.
This project will build a school and provide water to over 600 students.
